Sheila Jean (Peach) Tetrick

Sheila Jean “Jeannie” (Peach) Tetrick, age 71, of Bradenton, FL, formerly of Mt. Carmel, IL, passed away peacefully at her home, Monday, August 10, 2020.

Jeannie was born January 8, 1949, in Princeton, IN, to Erasmus J. “Junior” and Mary C. (Deisher) Peach. She graduated from Mt. Carmel High School in 1967. Jeannie married Carroll L. “Finn” Tetrick on February 18, 1967. Jeannie was born and raised in the Gospel Assembly Church in Mt. Carmel, IL under Reverend Frank Peach. She attended all her life and was active in the music department where she played the organ, piano, and accordion up until her declining health. Jeannie attended Bradenton Gospel Tabernacle for the last 3 years. When she could no longer attend services, she faithfully watched the live-streamed Body of Christ Services on her laptop. While she was in Des Moines, IA, she helped in the church school and played piano for the children’s chapel service. She loved children and had a heart of gold. Jeannie enjoyed crossword puzzles and loved spending time with her family and friends.

Jeannie is survived by her loving son, Brian Lee Tetrick of Bradenton, FL; 3 grandchildren, Noah, Annie, and Charlotte of Fort Smith, AR; mother, Mary Peach of Mt. Carmel, IL; siblings, Dan Peach (Judy Keeling) of Mt. Carmel, IL, Pam Mason (Ed) of Jonesboro, AR, Debbie Walker (Richard) of St. Francisville, IL, and baby sister, Karen McKinney (Ken) of Newburgh, IN; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles, all whom loved her dearly.

Jeannie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Finn; father, Junior; older brother, Bobby; and grandparents, Erasmus Silas and Goldie Peach VanDeMaat and Lawrence and Gladys Deisher.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 14, 2020, at Gospel Kingdom Church, 1440 West Third Street, Mt Carmel, IL with Reverend John Peach, Reverend Brandon Hodgson, and Reverend John Marlow officiating. A Live Stream will be available.
