Sherman Ballard, Jr., age 65, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 6:23 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at Health South Rehab.

Sherman was born October 21, 1952, in Barbersville, KY, to the late Sherman Ballard, Sr. and Glessie Ballard. He loved watching Gunsmoke and Bananza.

He is survived by his sons, Anthony “Tony” Ellis and Sherman Ellis, III; grandchildren, Trenton Ellis and Bryce Mullen; sisters, Faye O’Neil and Linda Hobbs; and brothers, Glenn Ballard and Mercer Ballard.

He is preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife, Sandra (Lockwood) Ballard; and granddaughter, Amber Ellis.

No Funeral Service and Burial will be Private.
