Shirley Lee (Muth) Krohn, age 79, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 11:16 p.m. on Monday, April 19, 2021, at home, surrounded by her family.
Shirley was born November 7, 1941, in Evansville, IN to Sylvester Muth and Marie (Wittmeier) Muth. She owned K&K Upholstery and Drapery Outlet. Shirley previously worked at Bartels Manufacturing, Flex Steel and Finks Furniture upholstering and repairing furniture. She always loved looking for bargains and volunteering her time and talents decorating wedding receptions, bridal showers, and baby showers.
Shirley is survived by her daughters, JoAnn Petrie (David) of Hermosa Beach, CA, Debbie Brown of Evansville, IN; son, Rick Krohn (Vicky) of Newburgh, IN; sisters, Barbara Muth, Mary Miller (Leroy), and Rose Rogge, all of Evansville, IN; brothers, Don Muth (Joanne) of Newburgh, IN, Sylvester Muth (Sylvia), both of Evansville, IN; daughter-by-choice, Lori Hancock of Dale, IN; grandchildren, MaCabe Brown, Madison Schmitt (Logan), Colton Krohn (Sarah), Hadley Brown, Guy Petrie, and Dominque Petrie; great grandchildren, MaKinley Brown, Harrison Schmitt, Kennedy and Noah Krohn; and many nieces and nephews.
Shirley is preceded in death by her loving husband Virgil (Dino) Krohn, who passed away in 2014; and her parents, Sylvester and Marie Muth.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 22, 2021, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with The Krohn Family officiating.
