Shirley A. (Shake) Whiteside, age 92, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at Evansville Protestant Home.

Shirley was born October 30, 1928, in Paxton, IN, to Everett Shake and Edith (McCammon) Shake. She graduated from Carlisle High School of Sullivan, IN in 1946. Shirley was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Shirley is survived by her sons, Ronald L. Whiteside (Deborah) and Larry B. Whiteside (Debra); grandchildren, Wesley E. Whiteside, Laura N. Bechtel (Josh), LeAnne N. Goedde (Paul); seven great grandchildren; and sister, Mary Alsman.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Edith; and her husband of 69 years, Wesley L. Whiteside.

Private Graveside Services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery with Pastor Mike Claypool officiating.
