Stephen Dale Bugher

Stephen Dale Bugher, age 75, of Evansville, IN, passed away Monday, August 5, 2024, at home.

Steve was born October 5, 1948, in Evansville, IN, to Malcolm and Dorothy Alice (Roberts) Bugher. He graduated from North High School in 1966 and worked as a Sheet Metal Worker with Local 16 for many years before retiring in 2004. Steve loved hanging out at Hacienda Mexican Restaurant. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, traveling to #BugherIslandLife, and he absolutely loved his 1966 GTO - he was the original owner. Steve loved his family, and he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Steve is survived by his daughter, Tamalynn O’Daniel (Roland) of Louisville, KY; brother, Laine Bugher (Tammie); grandchildren, Jacquelynn Campbell (Andrew), Tayler O’Daniel, Alexandria O’Daniel, Oliver O’Daniel (Taylor) and Lily Bugher; great grandchildren, Xavier Campbell, Everett Campbell, Bella Morgan, Nora Morgan, Jase O’Daniel, and Rylie Morris; and significant other, Jan.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents; and son, Rodney Bugher, who passed away in 2021.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville, IN. Burial will be Private.

Friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 9, 2024, and from 10:00 a.m. until service time, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
