Susan C. (Carter) Roberts

Susan C. (Carter) Roberts, age 65 of Evansville, IN, formerly of Louisville and Paducah, KY, passed away at 8:16 p.m. on Sunday, May 10, 2020, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital.

Susan was born January 5, 1955, in Louisville, KY, to the late Louis and Lillian (Kramer) Carter. She graduated from Fern Creek High School in 1973 and went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree from Murray State University and her Master’s of Education Degree from University of Evansville. Susan retired as a special education teacher after 40 years in the classroom. She loved working with her Sorority where they raised money for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and the Easterseals.

Susan is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Marc Roberts; sisters, Denise Anderson (Ross) and Linda Adams (Tom); and many nieces and nephews.

Family Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Kris Holzmeyer officiating. Burial will be Private at Maplelawn Park Cemetery and Mausoleum in Paducah, KY.
