Sylvia Earlene Lee

Sylvia Earlene Lee, age 75, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 5:55 p.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021, at Ascension Saint Vincent Hospital – Evansville.

Sylvia was born August 7, 1946, in Evansville, IN, to the late Earl E. Lee and Marjorie L. (Bauer) Lee. A lifelong resident of Evansville, she graduated from North High School in 1964 and went on to earn her Associate’s Degree from Lockyear Business College. Sylvia was a faithful member of First Southern Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and caregiver. Sylvia enjoyed travel and was an avid reader. She traveled extensively throughout the United States, as well as Canada and Mexico. Sylvia loved to read, especially books about American history, presidential biographies, and travelogues. Her favorite destinations were Washington DC, New England, and the American Northwest.

Sylvia is survived by her brother, Richard E. Lee of Fort Smith, AR.

Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Marjorie Lee.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 1, 2021, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor David Cullison officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.

Friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 30, 2021, at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
