Teresa Kaye (Angel) Fowler

Teresa Kaye (Angel) Fowler, age 56, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 12:18 p.m. on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at home, surrounded by her family.

Teresa was born October 27, 1964, in Evansville, IN, to Ferrell Schmeing and Charlotte (Smallwood) Schmeing. She graduated from Reitz High School. Teresa worked as a housekeeper for Baptist Health Hospital for many years. She attended Forest Hills Wesleyan Church. Teresa enjoyed playing Bingo and Poker. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren; they were her world.

Teresa is survived by her daughters, Melissa Fowler (Ricky Bonness) and Tiffany Angel (Paul Howard); siblings, Marinell, Donnie, Raymond, Greg, Larry, Doug, Teresa, and Sally; grandchildren, Britney Allen (Henry Killebrew), Jeffrey “JT” Franklin, Austin Franklin, Michael Newman, and Adilynn Forker; great grandchildren, Emery Hope Killebrew and Henry Killebrew, Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.

Teresa is preceded in death by her parents, Ferrell and Charlotte Schmeing; husband, Michael Fowler, who passed away in 1998; twin sister, Lisa F. Fitzgerald, who passed away January 13, 2021; and siblings, Dewayne, Terry, and Mike.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Forest Hills Wesleyan Church, 2800 Claremont Avenue, Evansville, with Pastor Ray Austin officiating.
