Teresa Ann Patchin

Teresa Ann Patchin, 72, of Evansville, passed away, Sunday, January 8, 2023, at The Village of Hamilton Pointe.

My sister, Teresa Ann Patchin passed away late last night. She was 72 and had been in an assisted living facility for several years. She had a rare disease and eventually was unable to communicate with anyone. She has been very ill for the last six month.

Now she is home as she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior as a young person. She served in churches in Georgia, South Carolina, and Indiana, and she served for over 30 years at Bethel Church in Evansville, IN.

Teresa always loved music and graduated in piano as a teenager. She also had an amazing voice with a tremendous range.

Teresa was born August 28, 1950, in Columbus, GA, to Francis J. and Katherine (Griffin) Patchin. She graduated from Hardaway High School in Columbus, GA. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Music from Tiff College in Forsyth, GA, and an additional Master’s Degree in Music from Southern Baptist Seminary in Louisville, KY.

Teresa is survived by her daughter and grandson, Leslie Renee Patchin and Elias Daniel Patchin; brother, Rick Patchin; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Please remember all of us in your prayers.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. CST, Friday, January 13, 2023, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor David Schwambach officiating.

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time CST, Friday, January 13, 2023, at Boone Funeral Home.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. EST, Monday, January 16, 2023, at Parkhill Cemetery in Columbus, GA. Interment will be next to our mother and father.
