Timothy Lee “Timmy” Blanford, age 68 of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Newburgh Healthcare.
Timmy was born October 9, 1957, in Evansville, Indiana, to Walter and Norma Jean (Garvin) Blanford. He attended Glenwood Grade School as a child. One of Timmy’s biggest accomplishments was being a part of the Special Olympics bowling team. He also loved animals. Timmy has been a wonderful son, fantastic brother, and loving uncle. His smile is the stamp left on the hearts of those closest to him.
The family of Timmy would like to extend a special thank you to both Newburgh Healthcare and Gentiva Hospice for their compassionate continual care.
Timmy is survived by his mother, Norma Jean Blanford; his siblings, Sherry (Dennis) Oakley, Richard “Todd” (Cheryl) Blanford, Scott (Rachel) Blanford and John Blanford; brother in law, Tim Merkley; long time best friend, David Beane; and numerous nieces and nephews.
