Tina Louise Miller

Tina Louise Miller, age 64, of Evansville, IN, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital – Evansville.

Tina was born November 11, 1959, in Enid, OK, to Otis L. and Lillie Mae (MacKnight) Miller. She grew up in Owensboro, KY, at the Mary Kindal Group Home for Girls. She moved to Evansville, IN, when she was 24 years old to be close to family.

Tina enjoyed the following certificates of achievements: earning her GED, attending Beauty College, earning her Certified Nurse’s Assistant License (working in that field for 15 years), earning her Real Estate License, and working as a cashier at Target for 13 years.

Tina worked most of her life, not really having the chance to enjoy much outside of work. She was able to find solace in her family, pets, plants, and books. Tina didn’t believe in organized religion but believed in God. She was always hungry for knowledge and encouraged her children to learn and to pursue their dreams.

Tina trained horses for Barrell Racing, and she enjoyed smoking and watching Scooby-Doo. She loved her family and believed in keeping them close. Her sisters, Diane Lynn and Barbara Jean were very dear to her.  

Tina is survived by her children, Krista Miller and Jason Miller; grandchildren, Finley Winters, Felix Miller, Strayth Caldwell, Maximus Deffendall, and Ray Ball; 1 great grandchild; and sisters, Barbara Jean Paugh and Andi Wilkins.

Tina is preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Lillie Miller; and sister, Diane Riggs.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, April 12, 2024, Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville with Finley Winters officiating. Burial will be Private.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until service time, Friday, April 12, 2024, Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
