Tommy "Tom" Wayne Tompkins

Tommy Wayne “Tom” Tompkins, age 72, of Evansville, IN passed away Monday, April 14, 2025, at Majestic Care of Newburgh.

Tommy was born January 5, 1953, in Eldorado, IL, to George and Oma Tompkins. He graduated from Eldorado High School as Valedictorian. He enjoyed physics and math, and worked as a computer tech. Tommy taught himself how to play guitar when he was 12 years old and continued to love playing throughout his life. He loved turtles, snakes, hamsters, and birds. His favorite pet was his turtle named Pongo.

Tommy is survived by his loving wife, Lisa.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 19, 2025, at Majestic Care of Newburgh, 5233 Rosebud Lane, Newburgh, IN 47630, with Ed Filbert officiating. Burial will be Private.
