Tony Jorkan

Tony Jorkan, age 54, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away at 8:02 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital.

Tony was born November 11, 1971, in the Marshall Islands, to David Sandbergen and Amenta Jorkan. He worked as a machine operator for Tyson Foods in Robards, Kentucky. Tony attended the Marshallese United Church of Christ.

Tony is preceded in death by his significant other of 10 years, Mary Edmond; sister, Tauwe; and brothers, Arthur, Anty, Paul, Kondo, Flilex, and Carland.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Marshallese United Church of Christ, 1468 Bellemeade Avenue, Evansville, IN, with Pastor Enja Jolet officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
