Wallace Ray Tuley, age 83, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 4:40 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at home with his family by his side.
Wallace was born May 22, 1939, in Chrisney, IN, to Wallace Riley and Mary Elizabeth (Crews) Tuley. He graduated from Chrisney High School in 1957 and from Bradley University School of Horology. He was a member of Newburgh United Methodist Church. Wallace repaired watches and loved tinkering with gadgets. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family.
Wallace is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Sue (Cooper) Tuley; daughters, Tammy Tuley, Carla Harris, Jill Walters (Trey), and Marla Rafferty (Chris); sister, Connie Miller (Randy); brother, Jim Tuley (Joyce); grandchildren, Tyler Tuley (Katelyn), Jordan Harris, Kylie Harris, McCoy Walters, Salem Walters, Julian Walters, Clare Rafferty, Grant Rafferty, and Maeve Rafferty; great-grandchildren, Henry Knox Tuley and Franklin Wallace Tuley; and nieces and nephews.
Wallace is preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Mary Tuley; brothers, Bob Tuley and Bill Tuley; infant sister, Sandra Kay; son-in-law, Wayne Harris, Jr.; and grandson, Caleb Harris.
Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, January 15, 2023, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville, with Pastor Kris Holzmeyer officiating.
Friends may visit from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, January 15, 2023, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 16, 2023, at Midway Cemetery, Midway, IN.
