Wanda S. (Blackburn) Rheinhardt

Wanda S. Rheinhardt, age 75, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019.

Wanda was born May 8, 1943, in Versailles, KY to Roderick and Mattie (Bilbrey) Blackburn. She graduated from Bosse High School in 1961. Wanda was a member at First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. She was a hairdresser for 18 years and became a pharmacy technician employed by St. Mary’s Medical Center for over 30 years. Wanda loved gardening, had a big concern for people, and loved encouraging others by sending cards for any occasion, which will be greatly missed.

Wanda is survived by her daughter, Danielle Kattmann of Noblesville, IN; Keith Rheinhardt of Indianapolis, IN; Dean Rheinhardt of Huson, MT; grandchildren, Samuel, Eleanor and Sophia; sister, Nancy Hartford (Lee); brothers, James and Richard Blackburn; and fur baby, Bella Sue.

She is preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband of 50 years, Ronald Rheinhardt, who passed away in 2016; and brother, Larry Vivrette.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Steve Claspell officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.  

Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
