Wesley Whiteside Obituary

Wesley L. Whiteside, age 90, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at St. Vincent Hospital.

Wesley was born March 6, 1930, in Palatka, AR, to George and Edith Whiteside. He graduated from Bosse High School in 1948. Wesley served as a Marine during the Korean Conflict.

Wesley is survived by his wife of 69 years, Shirley A. (Shake) Whiteside; sons, Ron Whiteside (Deborah) and Larry Whiteside (Debra); grandchildren, Wesley E. Whiteside, Laura N. Bechtel, Leanne N. Goedde and 7 great-grandchildren.

Wesley is preceded in death by his parents, and sisters, Maxine Raynor and Jean McWaters.
