Willard Johnson Obituary

Willard L. Johnson, 73, of Evansville, died Tuesday, June 6, 2000, at St. Mary’s Medical Center of a stroke.

He retired in 1983 as a foreman after 24 years with Arkla Servel. He was Protestant and a member of Riverbend Association.

Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Naomi (Matthews); four daughters, Judy Kuhlenschmidt of Elberfeld, Ind., Kathy Nichols of El Paso, Texas, Glenda Webb of Evansville and Judy Barnett of Newburgh; a son Larry Owens of Evansville; a sister, Ruth Layman of Evansville; a brother, Robert of Evansville; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 pm. Friday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. R.R. Schwambach officiating, with entombment in Park Lawn Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
