William Buck

William “Bill” Buck, age 84, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2026, at Specialty Select Hospital.

Bill was born May 24, 1941, in Evansville, Indiana, to Norman and Maxine (Myers) Buck. He graduated from North High School in 1959. After graduation, Bill enlisted in the Army Reserves for a few years. Once he was discharged from the service, he began attending Indiana State University in Terre Haute. He married the love of his life, Billie Jo “BJ” Hillenbrand in November of 1968. They’ve been long time members of Christian Fellowship Church in Evansville.

Bill is survived by his daughters, Heather Judd (Rob) and Beth Roberts (Greg); his grandchildren, Noah Judd, Logan Roberts and Mackenzie Roberts; and his sisters, Jan Weber and Lana McDaniel (Wayne).

Bill is preceded in death by his late wife, Billie Jo “BJ” Buck; his parents, Norm and Maxine;

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May  22, 2026, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Cliff Herring officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
