Bobbie R. Day Sr.

Bobbie R. Day, Sr., 73, of Chandler, Indiana, passed away at 5:38 pm, Thursday, August 31, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital, Evansville. 

Bobbie was born in Evansville, IN, September, 28, 1943, the son of the late Elmer T. and Lillian (Gansman) Day.  He retired from his career at Alcoa on April 1, 2000.

He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Katherine (Fark) Scarbrough Day; sons, Bobbie R. Day, Jr. of Boonville, IN, Gary and Terry Scarbrough of Evansville, Mark Scarbrough (Sandy) Madisonville, KY; sister, Dorothy Marie Catrell, of Evansville; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Bobbie was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Willie Ruth DeBose, Mary Ann Cantrell, Bill Day and Albert Day.

Graveside Services will be held at 1 pm, Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Bates Hill Cemetery, Yankeetown, IN with Pastor Phil Elikofer officiating.

Arrangements are being taken care of by Boone Funeral Home East Chapel-A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Ave., Evansville, Indiana.
