Owner
As owner of Boone Funeral Home, Jordan pairs his leadership and management experience of over 16 years with a deep understanding of the funeral industry to provide professional services with an individualized touch.
Jordan received his Bachelor’s degree from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science.
As a strong believer in community, Jordan supports local events and has become an integral member of the community. He leads worship services at Christian Fellowship Church and performs at different area churches. For the past eight years, he has sung the National Anthem for the Right to Life Banquet and at the Hadi Shriners Fest. Jordan performs annually in the Faith Music Radio, 93.1 FM FAITH MUSIC CHRISTMAS.
Jordan values family and enjoys spending time with his wife, Samantha, and their three daughters, Lillian, Cecilia, and Scarlett.
Jordan is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA).
Managing Funeral Director
Ellen is a 2011 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School. She earned her Associate’s degree from Mid-America College of Funeral Service and her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Southern Indiana. She joined our team in April of 2020. Ellen was promoted to Managing Funeral Director in 2024. She is a member of Living Word Christian Church and the Evansville Delta Gamma Alumnae Group. She enjoys spending time with her family, baking, hiking, and running in races.

Pre-Need Director & Aftercare Coordinator
Rachel is originally from Salem, Illinois. She relocated to Evansville in 2017 with her family. She earned an Associate's degree from Kaskaskia College in Centralia, Illinois. Rachel has worked in the death care industry for six years, and recently joined the Boone family in August of 2024. Her welcoming and friendly presence makes her a valued addition to the team as the Pre-Need Director and Aftercare Coordinator.
Administrative Assistant
As the front office administrative assistant, Jill is
often the first face you see when visiting Boone Funeral Home. She joined our
team in February of 2023, and with her kind and warm demeanor and ability to
juggle all that a front office has to handle, she has been a wonderful addition
to our team.
Jill is from Haubstadt, IN, graduated from Gibson
Southern High School, and earned her Associate’s Degree in Business
Administration from Indiana Business College in 1999.
Jill is married to Israel “Izzy,” and they have three
fur babies: Alice, Mila, and Duke. She loves reading, crafting, and spending
time with her family and pets.
Student
Amelia Rankin is currently studying Mortuary Science at Vincennes University and working towards becoming a licensed funeral director.
As a student, Amelia spends her time learning about the ministry though hands-on experience and guidance from the funeral directors at Boone. She lends a helpful hand in all aspects of the funeral home.
Whenever she isn't working or on-call, Amelia enjoys drawing, fishing, and spending time with friends playing Magic the Gathering, DnD, Mario Kart, and other games at game night.
Staff
Roger was born in Evansville, IN, and has lived in Cynthiana, IN, since 1975. He graduated from North High School in 1969 and attended University of Southern Indiana. Roger served in the Indiana National Guard from 1970-1976.
Roger Seaton joined the maintenance team at Boone in 2002 after retiring from United Parcel Service.
Roger is married to Debra. They have four sons, Jeff (Michelle), Chad (Angie), Ryan (Krista), and Chris (Ashley) and nine grandchildren whom they adore. His interests are Auto Racing and Southern Gospel Music, and his favorite pastime is building model cars.

Richard has been working at Boone since 2012. His job as a Funeral Professional is to line cars up for the procession to the cemetery and to drive the limo for the family. When not working funerals, he does maintenance around the funeral home.
Richard is a woodworker and has done several projects around the funeral home. He enjoys his work and thinks of his coworkers as one big family. He prays on a daily basis for all the families he serves at Boone.
Richard married to his wonderful wife, Nancy, in 1965. They have three children and six grandchildren.

Chaplain
Kris Holzmeyer grew up in Southwest Indiana and has served churches in Indiana and Tennessee for twenty years. Kris also serves as a law enforcement chaplain.
