Macon "Mickey" A. Guinn

Macon “Mickey” A. Guinn, age 82, of Newburgh, IN, went home to be with the Lord at 6:30 p.m., on Wednesday, December 6, 2017.

Mickey was born June 10, 1935, to the late Earl E. Guinn and Lois E. (Simpson) Guinn. He retired from Whirlpool after 39 years, and was a long-time member of Heritage Baptist Church where he served as a trustee. Mickey thoroughly loved spending quality time with his family and was an avid golfer. He also enjoyed fishing, handiwork, and the outdoors.

He is survived by his daughters, Ginger Courtney (Robin) of Evansville and Kelly Land (Michael) of Jasper; sister, Glenda Faye Baggett (David) of Evansville; grandchildren, Brock Courtney (Salena), Whitney Land-Sermersheim (Chad), and Kasey Land; great-grandchildren, Kayson, Bri, Landyn, and Trace; and nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and the love of his life of 58 years, Joyce M. (Heston) Guinn.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 9, 2017, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel - A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville with Reverend Maurice Melton officiating. Burial and U.S. Navy Funeral Honors will follow at Park Lawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 8, 2017, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel - A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville.
