Rebecca (Durbin) Mendez

Rebecca Mendez, 66, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away at 11:30 am, Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital.

Born in Evansville, IN on New Year’s Day in 1952, she was the daughter of the late Estel Durbin and Pearl (Majors) Durbin.  Rebecca worked as a carpenter and attended New Horizon Fellowship of God Church.

Rebecca is survived by her mother; husband, Elias Mendez; son, Richard Murphy (Alyssa); and grandson, Estel James Murphy, all of Evansville, IN.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral Services will be at a later date.
