Robert "Bob" K. Savage, Jr.

Robert “Bob” K. Savage, Jr., age 75, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 21, 2017.

Bob was born on March 19, 1942, to the late Robert K. Savage, Sr. and the late Hazel Savage. He graduated from North High School in 1960. Bob retired from the Evansville Courier & Press in 1997 after 30+ years. He loved vacationing in Florida. His grandkids and great-grandson were the light of his life, and he enjoyed spoiling them.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Doloris Savage (Sherrill); daughters, Becky Zoch (Darryl) and Robin Savage; grandchildren, Kyle Hudson (Stephani) and Emily Hudson;  great grandchild, Kamdyn Hudson; sister, Terry Best; and sister-in-law, Betty Sherrill.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ricky Savage.

Funeral Services will be held at 6 pm, Friday, November 24, 2017, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel - A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville with Jordan B. Duncan officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery at 2 pm, Monday, November 27, 2017.

Friends may visit from 1 pm until 6 pm,  November 24, 2017, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
