Virginia L. Taylor

Virginia “Ginny” L. Taylor, 87, of Evansville passed away at 1:50 am, Friday, September 29, 2017 at Columbia Health Care.

Ginny was born August 13, 1930 in Evansville, Indiana the daughter of the late Loren and Alberta (Eli) Kincaid. She graduated from Bosse High School in 1948 and married her sweetie on New Year’s Eve the same year.  Ginny worked for Servel in the corporate office for many years, and as a homemaker for her family who she treasured dearly. She was a member of Crossroads Christian Church. Ginny loved to sew and to work outside in her flower gardens. She was a sweet and beautiful lady, inside and out. 

She is survived by her daughter, Lanette Kissel of Evansville; granddaughter, Christina Betz, of Evansville, and brother, Robert Kincaid (Pauline) of Newburgh.                              

Ginny was preceded in death by her parents and her loving and devoted husband, Donald, who passed just 2 short weeks ago.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 pm, Wednesday, October  4, 2017 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel-A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Ave., Evansville with Reverend Gayle Russ officiating. Burial will be in Hackelman Cemetery, Chrisney, IN.   

Friends may visit from 10 am until time of service at  12 pm, Wednesday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
