Chanda Lee (Howard) Hatt

Chanda Lee (Howard) Hatt, 37, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 8:28 pm, Friday, October 13, 2017 at her home.

Chanda was born June 10, 1980 in Evansville, Indiana, the daughter of Greg Howard (Marlene) and the late Debra Kitzinger. She was a 1998 graduate of North High School. Chanda continued on to Ivy Tech, and obtained her associates as an Emergency Medical Technician.  Chanda was employed by St. Vincent Evansvillel for 20 years, most recently as a Team Lead Care Specialist.  She enjoyed crafting, scrapbooking, cooking and most of all, spending time with her family. 

Chanda was a wife of noble character. She was faithful like Ruth who said “Do not urge me to leave you, or to go back from following after you, for wherever you stop over, I stop over. Your people are my people, and your Elohim is my Elohim.”

She is survived by her husband of 15 years, together for 22 years, Daniel Hatt; children, Zoey and Zane Hatt; father, Greg Howard (Marlene); sisters, Miranda Henson, and  Marissa Henson and her children, Cortez, Jayden and Davina Nelson-Larkin; brother,  Patrick Howard, his wife Malynda, and their children Danny Riley, Paige and Aiden Howard; in-laws Tony and Carrie (Hatt) Figueroa and their first child soon to arrive, Grace Evelyn; uncle, Gary Kitzinger; aunt, Leisa Howard, and grandmother, Nancy Howard.

Chanda was preceded in death by her mother, Debra Kitzinger, and grandparents, Clifford and Barbara Kitzinger, and Harold Howard.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am, Thursday, October, 19, 2017 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville with Rabbi Steve Berkson officiating. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery.  

Friends may call from 2 pm until 7 pm, Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel-A Family Tradition Funeral Home.
