Ruth Louise (White) Sollars

Ruth "Louise" Sollars, 90, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away at 2:15 pm on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at the Protestant Home.

She was born in Sidell, Illinois, July 20, 1927, the daughter of the late Frederick and Ethel (Ponder) White.  Louise worked as a bookkeeper for the family business, Sollars Glass Co., and was a member at Crossroads Christian Church. Louise dedicated her life to her family; they were everything to her.

Surviving are her children, David Sollars (Elaine) of Newburgh, IN, Diatra Clonan (Cliff) of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Mark Sollars (Sandy) of Newburgh, IN; sister, Mary Meyer of Danville, IL; grandchildren, Laura Stoltz (Ruston), Jeremy Sollars (Ashley), Bridget Fultz (Craig), Andrew Sollars (Jessica), Angie Clonan, Kimberly Clonan, Michelle Rendon (Russell), Holly Brown (Travis), Tiffany Sollars, and Jacob Sollars, and 22 Great Grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband of 48 years, Robert Sollars; son, Richard Sollars, and brother Gene Watts.

A Funeral service will be at 11:30 AM on Friday, December 1, 2017, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel - A Family Tradition Funeral Home located at 5330 Washington Avenue Evansville, Indiana 47715 with the Reverend Joe Sollars, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Park Lawn Cemetery, Evansville, IN.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Friday, December 1, 2017, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel - A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville, Indiana.
